I absolutely cannot believe the way that the media and the blogosphere is hyping up the “Unity” event that is going on today. Live video going on at MSNBC, all the major networks have their staff embedded for the event, I mean come on people, it is just a campaign rally.
I wish the main stream […]

It is really hard to imagine that a candidate with the last name of Clinton would have trouble raising money for a major, national political campaign. However, according to Mark Penn, who was a top adviser for the Clinton campaign, money may have been the primary factor in Hillary Clinton’s loss.
While everyone loves to talk […]

MSNBC/NBC has confirmed that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are currently in a meeting tonight at her D.C. home.
Not sure what may come of it, but I would guess they are talking over several things, including the VP spot, uniting the party, and coming up with a way to help pay off Clinton’s estimated $20 […]

A top adviser within the Barack Obama campaign says that Obama is open to the idea of helping Hillary Clinton pay off her estimated $20 million campaign debt, according the Bloomberg.
While Obama cannot directly pay the debt for Clinton, per campaign finance laws, Obama could hold fundraising events and ask his supporters to donate to […]

The Huffington Post, and every other media outlet on the planet, is reporting that Hillary Clinton will suspend her campaign and endorse Barack Obama on Friday.
This couldn’t come quick enough if you ask me. I believe that we cannot afford to have a full week of media coverage on Hillary, and talks of the VP […]

Well, after what seems like an eternity, the Democratic primary race is officially over today, in terms of contests that is.
Sen. Barack Obama certainly appears to have it wrapped up and several big sources indicate that he will claim that victory tonight in St. Paul during his speech. He will need to roll out roughly […]

According to the Politico today, the Clinton campaign staff members have been notified that the campaign will begin shedding staff members as early as Tuesday.
I would certainly take this an indication that the campaign will not continue to fight to the convention, as some have speculated within the campaign.
She is going to be speaking tomorrow […]

Well, it has been a relatively quite Sunday in the political world even though we did have a primary today.
Sen. Hillary Clinton has won the Puerto Rico primary, to no surprise of anyone following this race. It is an impressive victory, yet, no matter how impressive, you still can’t help but feel the meaningless aura […]

Imagine the irony in a story involving the Clinton campaign and the notion that they would want to unseat delegates.
From PoliTex:
Local Clinton supporters advocated Thursday for unseating ALL of the Democratic delegates from Collin County because their senate district conventions were held on the wrong day.
Yes, you read the right.
Clinton supporters are trying to unseat […]

Well, after what seems like an eternity, two of the top Democratic party leaders have finally called on superdelegates to make their choice and end the Democratic nomination for President.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday, that he, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and party chairman Howard Dean will urge uncommitted delegates to choose sides.
“By this time […]

First and foremost, I am not a Hillary Clinton supporter. I have always respected Sen. Clinton until this campaign began and she truly showed me what kind of person she is.
Now, she has completely stepped over the line. Here is the statement that is making such an uproar at this hour….
‘My husband did not wrap […]

Taylor Marsh did an excellent job of liveblogging the Clinton conference call this morning and I found some surprising stuff that was said during the call.
Reporter: Where was Clinton’s dedication to voter’s rights last fall?
Wolfson: Because of DNC rules, we didn’t expect the turn out to be so huge. “Enormous interest on the part of […]

Rachel Maddow has a great piece at the Huffington Post today laying out Hillary Clinton’s continued efforts to take this nomination to the Democratic National Convention.
Do you see where this is going? If there is an open, unresolved procedural issue involving the Florida and Michigan delegations, Senator Clinton will be able to cite that as […]

When Hillary Rodham Clinton gets up in front a crowd, on national TV, and tells the world that she is ahead in the popular vote, why won’t the media correct her?
Note to media…… You have to call bullshit and correct her.
Currently, Hillary Clinton is out there on the trail spewing two different lies:
1. She is […]

With the primaries today in Kentucky and Oregon, today really should be the nomination clincher for Barack Obama. After tonight, with a win in Oregon, he will take the majority lead in pledged delegates. This is really the final hurdle that the Obama campaign needs to claim victory in this race.
Obama is already leading in […]
