Cory Perry is a full-time a web developer and the founder of Politivine.com. Cory is an active progressive activist and blogger with a profound knowledge of internet-related media and organization. Cory is a graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta, where he majored in Interactive Media Design.

Currently, Cory is a campaign volunteer for the Barack Obama campaign, focusing on neighborhood canvasing and phone banking in the Upstate South Carolina area.

Cory currently lives in Greenville, SC with his wife, Ivey.

What Politivine.com is

Quite simply, I am a passionate American blogger. I wanted a way to express my political opinion in the internet arena, thus Politivine.com was born. This site is here to inform, educate, and entertain people that are interested in the progressive, grassroots movement. In no way am I an expert in the political field, nor will I ever claim to be. I am just a passionate American citizen that believes that we can make this country whatever we want it to be if we are informed, willing to fight for it, and willing to come together for a common purpose.

Where does your info come from?

The info found on Politivine.com comes from several sources, but most importantly it comes from me. I read stories and then blog about them based on my own thoughts and opinions, including facts and sources where appropriate. I also seed other stories from the news world here also. Sometimes it is better for people to read stories from the source, rather than me trying to interpret what the original author is trying to say. When that is the case, we provide direct links to stories and then may or may not also provide an opinion on the story.

What Politivine.com can help accomplish

I want people to be informed of the political world in which they live in. Politivine.com was created on the idea that we can inform people to make better decisions when they vote. I make no means in trying to sway people on their opinions, I only give mine and hope that it is useful to all who read. Some will agree with me and some will not, but as long as we can debate it constructively, both sides can learn from it and make a more informed decision.
