Whether you like it or not, Obama caved on his promise to support a filibuster of the FISA bill. This is very disappointing for several reasons, including the fact that Obama did not keep his word as he said he would.

“The bill has changed. So I don’t think the security threats have changed, I think the security threats are similar. My view on FISA has always been that the issue of the phone companies per se is not one that overrides the security interests of the American people.”

Sorry, but national security will never trump constitutional rights, and you will never convince me otherwise.
