Sen. Barack Obama, fresh off his Democratic nomination victory, has now gained a modest boost in the latest general election poll numbers.
Rasmussen Reports has just released their latest daily tracking poll that shows a small boost for Obama:
Obama - 48%
McCain - 40%
These numbers reflect the bump that Obama received since the last poll release that had both candidates tied at 46%.
While it is very early in the general election process, I suspect that you will see Obama continue to hold a 5-10 point lead throughout the entire process.
