Blogging here on Politivine.com will likely be very slim over the weekend, so I wanted to post something important to me before I sign off and take a break.
With Memorial Day on Monday, please make sure that as you are enjoying the weekend with your friends, family, or whoever that you take the time to thank the men and women of the Armed Forces who make every free day that you have possible.
As Americans, we may not always agree with the war in Iraq and we may not always agree with our foreign policy strategies. But as Americans, I think we can agree that the men and women that serve in our military deserve to be recognized for their service and their sacrifice.
To every single person out there that is serving or has served in the military:
Thank you for everything that you do or have done. Because of you, I am free to live my life as I see fit. Because of you, I can have my free speech right to produce this blog. Because of you, I am able to wake up everyday and realize that I live in the greatest country in the world.
Because of all that you have done, I owe you a great deal of gratitude. Thank You.
Enjoy the weekend and the holiday everyone, and please remember exactly who brought it to you.
