First and foremost, I am not a Hillary Clinton supporter. I have always respected Sen. Clinton until this campaign began and she truly showed me what kind of person she is.

Now, she has completely stepped over the line. Here is the statement that is making such an uproar at this hour….

‘My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. I don’t understand it,’ she said, dismissing calls to drop out.”

The really odd part is that she said these same statements in the past and nothing was said. I don’t remember her ever saying this before, and I cannot believe that it did not make news when she did say it before.

While Mrs. Clinton has apologized for the statement, that will not be good enough for me personally. To say this once is one thing, two or three times is a tactic, and a very dirty, disrespectful one at that.

We are on the verge of electing the first African-American President in this country and for statements like that to be made on the verge of such a historic feat, is simply unacceptable. I understand that Hillary Clinton has no regard for the rules, the party, or the country. I understand that it is her own selfishness that is leading her campaign even further down a dead end road.

But to insinuate that you are staying in the race, in hopes that something major will happen to the leading candidate, is simply vapid. Whether the statement was meant that way or not, it was uncalled for and she deserves every bit of backlash that she receives from it.

As Keith Olbermann put it so diligently in his special comment this evening, Sen. Clinton we have forgiven you for many things during this campaign, but this one we cannot and will not forgive.
