Sen. Barack Obama hit back once again today on the recent idiotic comments of Mr. George W. Bush.
Responding to Bush’s comment on Thursday that those who want to talk to Iran were like Nazi appeasers before the Second World War, Obama accused Bush of “exactly the kind of appalling attack that’s divided the country and that alienates us from the world.”
Obama also challenged both President Bush and President Bush, Jr., Mr. John McCain to a debate on foreign policy saying:
“They’ve got to answer for the fact that Iran is the greatest strategic beneficiary of our invasion of Iraq. It made Iran stronger, George Bush’s policies,” he said.
I think that McCain needs to really make his mind up. As much as he attempts to stray away from President Bush and his failed policies, he continues to align himself with him on every major issue that surfaces in this campaign.
On top of that, the Republican water carriers out there continue to stress that a McCain presidency will not be a third Bush term, often being outraged by those on the left that compare McCain to Bush.
It is stories like this, and many others, that confirm the validity of all comparisons between McCain and Bush.
