Like it or not, the 2008 Democratic Primary nominee has been decided….
by the media.
For months they have kept this thing closer than it really was and now, just like that, it is over. Recently, I posted another article about the May 6th primaries, asking what had really changed. Well, apparently a lot has changed because like it or not, Sen. Clinton is getting forced out.
I believe that it is with good reason to do so. It is, at this point, almost a certainty that Obama will win the nomination. Mathematically, she cannot overcome the popular vote count, the delegate count, and obviously not the states won. With that said, it is understandable that it is time for her to bow out and support Obama in the general election.
I just can’t figure out why the media is all of a sudden jumping all over this now? After PA, she was still in the same boat she is in right now, yet many were saying that she should go on because May 6th would be the game-changer. I guess they were right, it was the game-changer. And apparently, the media is kicking Sen. Clinton out of the ballpark.

2@Al:
Obama does want FL and MI to count, but it has to be done fairly. Clinton obviously does not want them to be counted fairly. She wants them to be counted in her favor, which is not going to happen, especially since Obama was not on the ballot in MI.
