Face it, when you want to win, you will do or say most anything to win. Such is the case with Hillary Rodham Clinton and her mystical delegate count.
Now, everyone (except the Clinton campaign) knows that 2,024.5 delegates will wrap this puppy up tighter than a Christmas present, but for some reason, Mrs. Clinton likes to think that the actual number is 2,209.
This morning(May 6th), Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign made the case that the goal line needs to be moved further back and that the real “magic number” is 2,209. It also laid out a scenario that has the primary season ending on June 3 with neither major contender having reached the 2,209 mark.
Really? 2,209 you say? Hmm, thats odd, someone didn’t get the memo.
Well, it appears that all throughout this race her campaign thought it was 2,025 and I suppose Hillary never told them that it was actually 2,209.
The 2,024.5 figure does not include Michigan and Florida, because they are currently not in play and we do not know yet if they ever will be. She is basing the 2,209 figure on both of those states being counted, which is simply absurd at this point.
I find it really odd that Hillary Clinton is willing to undermine not only the Democratic party but the entire election process just to fulfill her greedy ambition of becoming the President. I guess she thinks that Americans are just far too gullible to ever catch on to the idea here. This clear disregard for the rules and ethics is quite simply why she likely losing this race to begin with.
Sorry Mrs. Clinton, but this election is not owed to you as you seem to think. We don’t owe you anything and you can work for it just like Obama has worked for it. Furthermore, I would think that you of all people would realize that if it hasn’t happened by now, it is not going to, and there is good reason for that.
What more does Obama have to do to wrap this thing up? He has the delegate lead, he has the popular vote lead, he has won the most states, and he almost has the majority of the pledged delegates. It is mathematically impossible for her to move ahead of him in any of those, so what gives?

2@Al:
Don’t worry Al, they will be counted, just not in overwhelming favor like Clinton wants them to be. It will be done fairly, which is the way it should be.
