According to the LA Times, two of the five current California superdelegates will consider switching allegiance from Clinton to Barack Obama if he maintains his elected delegate lead through June 3rd.
It is almost a certainty that Obama will end the primary season with the elected delegate lead, popular vote lead, and the most states won. This could mean that some superdelegates that had previously supported Clinton, may switch their choice and support Obama for the nomination.
This could be big since neither candidate will sew up the required delegates to win the nomination before the convention. Also, the switch in allegiance last wekk of Joe Andrew may have also spurred other superdelegates to take a look at doing the same.
Also, with the IN and NC primaries tomorrow, we could begin to really see those final superdelegates roll in and announce their support for their respective candidate.
