Sen. Barack Obama will be on Meet The Press this Sunday morning for the full hour with host Tim Russert.

It has been a rough few weeks for Obama and I think you are likely so see him use this interview to calm things down and once again get back to the leadership role that he has played throughout this campaign.

Obviously, Tim Russert is going to ask about Rev. Wright, Bitter-Gate, and a slew of other meaningless topics, but I sure hope that Obama takes this time to talk about real issues and keeps the “craptalk” to a minimum.

He needs to gain ground in Indiana and an honest interview about real issues can do that for him, I just hope that NBC gives him that chance.
