I have to say that after watching the Democratic debate tonight on ABC, I have totally lost what little respect I did have for ABC News. I can’t even believe that ABC News would give that travesty a title of “debate”.

ABC News, you are an embarrassment to the news media community. And then to have the nerve to recite pieces of the Constitution in between your rampant Obama bashing and grilling?

Good try.

Could Obama have possibly been grilled any more on garbage that people have clearly shown they do not care about? Where were the questions on FISA?, where were the energy policy questions? We got about 15 minutes of substantive debate out of a 90 minute period.

I felt like I was reading the front page of The National Enquirer while watching tonight. They spent 75 of the 90 given minutes talking about garbage that has been recycled over and over and over.

What I really find odd is that an important question that needed to be discussed, What will you do about the current gas prices?, got put into the last 10 minutes with a 1 minute response from each candidate. Sadly, Rev. Wright and “Bitter-Gate” got about 20 minutes of coverage.

Are you kidding me?

How can a news organization, albeit pretty irrelevant, produce a catastrophe like this and still be able to maintain the word news in anything associated with them? When I heard that ABC News was holding this debate, I was skeptical, now I understand why I was. This was a really pathetic example of a debate.

Did Fox News recently buy ABC News and I just didn’t get the memo?

BTW, I wonder how much Sean Hannity paid George to ask the William Ayres question?

Get ready folks, it’s going to be another wonderful week of negative attacks, media spin, and over-exaggeration of crap that people really don’t care about.
