According to ABC News, yet another woman has come forward with a report that she was brutally raped in Iraq by KBR/Halliburton employees.

Dawn Laemon, says that she was raped by a U.S. soldier and a KBR employee earlier this year. Dawn has two sons who are on active duty in the military.

She will be telling her story in front on Congress today at a hearing with the Senate Foreign Relations committee.

Laemons says that following her rape, she was assigned to full-time security guards by KBR, which prevented her from being able to tell anyone about the rape. KBR says that allegations are currently under investigation.

This report is the second rape report to surface accusing KBR employees of rape. Late last year, another female came forward saying that she was gang-raped by KBR co-workers in Baghdad. Jamie Leah Jones reported that she was raped by multiple men at a KBR camp inside the green zone.

Jones also reported that she was threated by KBR personnel not to report the crime, and that she was placed under guard inside of a shipping container and warned that she would be out of a job if she spoke about the incident.

In this case, Army doctors had determined that she was raped both vaginally and anally, but the rape kit disappeared after it is was handed over to KBR employees.

It is simply amazing how companies like KBR are able to twist these crimes and end up with it just being pushed under the rug. In both cases, not one person has been charged with any type of crime.

The Justice Dept. will be answering questions in the hearing today regarding the sex crimes that have taken place in Iraq. Should be interesting to see just what comes out of the hearing today and whether the accused will actually be charged with any crime.
