According to CNN, Pennsylvania has hit a record number of registered voters for the upcoming Democratic primary on April 22nd.

According to Pennsylvania Elections Commissioner, Harry VanSickle, the state has had just over 4 million registered Democrats, along with 3.2 million registered Republicans that eligible for the April 22nd primary.

It stands to reason that the PA primary will once again be a record voter turn-out. With the Democratic race as heated as it is, more people than ever in PA are registering to have their voices heard, and pick the nominee for the Democratic party.

Sen. Hillary Clinton holds a double-digit lead in the most recent Rasmussen Reports PA poll, with a 49% to 39% lead. The PA primary has long been called a sure win for Clinton, but Sen. Barack Obama has slightly cut her lead in the state among registered Democratic voters.
