It is Monday morning and Politivine.com is officially rolling. I know things are a little bare around here right now, but we are working on getting everything in fine order this week. Starting a brand new blog is always a difficult thing to do but slowly things start to come around and everything just falls into place. So, stick around with us while we work out the final kinks!

What’s going on this week?

Mississippi Primary - Well, we have the Mississippi primary coming up on Tuesday. With a total of 33 delegates up for grabs, I think Mississippi is a very important part of the primary. Early polls say that Barack is clearly favored to win  it, the question now is by how much?

Florida/Michigan Voting - This Florida/Michigan re-vote deal is picking up great steam this week. It will be interesting to see where this goes and what ultimately happens to both states. Voting by mail seems to be an option that is really being talked about this morning by the major news outlets.  I just don’t see that as being a totally fair option, but we will see what happens. I think that they should either  split the delegates 50/50 from each contest, or do a completely new setup for both states and have the people vote again, in person.  I will continue to follow the story and see what happens.

John McCain - Mr. McCain is out on the trail doing some fundraising.  He appears to be gaining some traction with the base of his party that he will ultimately need to win the presidential election. If he can keep his cool this week with the media, and just lay low, he should really not be much a story this week.

So, looks like it should be a great week in the political world! We will be watching and following closely and see what pans out. We hope you will join us here at Politivine.com as we share it with you.
