It was first stated on Daily Kos that supposedly the Clinton campaign had darkened some video footage of Barack Obama to make him appear darker. While the story made headlines all across the media and blogosphere, the Clinton campaign reportedly had nothing to do with it.
Well, judging from updated information and the updated info over at FactCheck.org, it appears as though they did not have any hand in darkening Obama’s skin for the ad.
When this story first hit the scene, I immediately thought nothing of it, thinking that there was no way that the Clinton campaign would risk such a tactic, while others thought that it would be something that Clinton would no doubt pull in order to gain some type of momentum. I will leave it to you to decide on the issue, but I think we can safely put this story to bed.
